Arshdeep Singh Becomes Fastest Bowler to 150 T20I Wickets, Breaks Wanindu Hasaranga's Record
Auckland, October 30: India's left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh achieved a major milestone in the fourth T20I against New Zealand, becoming the fastest bowler to reach 150 wickets in the shortest international format in terms of days taken from debut.
The 27-year-old reached the landmark after dismissing New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner for five at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday (October 30). It was Arshdeep's 150th T20I wicket in his 103rd appearance for India.

Arshdeep achieved the feat in just 1,577 days from his T20I debut, comfortably surpassing the previous record held by Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga, who took 2,325 days to reach the milestone.
The Indian pacer has also become the fastest fast bowler to claim 150 T20I wickets in terms of deliveries bowled. He reached the landmark in 2,143 balls, going past Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman's previous record of 2,532 deliveries.
Arshdeep Singh Breaks Another T20I Record

Mitchell Santner Moves Ahead of Ish Sodhi Against India
While Arshdeep celebrated his milestone, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner continued his impressive record against India.
Santner picked up the wickets of Axar Patel and Nitish Kumar Reddy in the same over, putting the visitors under pressure during their steep run chase. He also dismissed Arshdeep's team-mate Axar and Nitish as New Zealand looked to defend their imposing total.
Santner now has 31 T20I wickets against India, moving ahead of fellow New Zealand spinner Ish Sodhi, who has taken 30.
Most T20I wickets against India:
- Mitchell Santner - 31
- Ish Sodhi - 30

- Jofra Archer/Adil Rashid - 22
Glenn Phillips Powers New Zealand to Record Total
Earlier, New Zealand posted a massive 259/7 in their 20 overs, their highest-ever total in T20I cricket, powered by Glenn Phillips' explosive 49-ball 107, after being put in to bat first.
Michael Bracewell provided outstanding support with a blistering 65 off just 25 deliveries as the hosts put India's bowling attack under enormous pressure.
India, who had enjoyed strong powerplay starts in the preceding matches, struggled to replicate that aggression in the chase. The visitors managed just 61 runs for the loss of four wickets in the first six overs as New Zealand's pacers made early inroads.
Santner then compounded India's problems by striking twice in his first over, removing Axar Patel and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
