Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, owned and operated by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), will host a few matches during the eighteenth edition of the Indian Premier League – IPL 2025, starting from Sunday (April 13).
The Arun Jaitley Stadium, formerly known as Feroz Shah Kotla, has served as home venue to Delhi state teams, the Indian cricket team and since 2008, when IPL started as a home to the Delhi-based franchise Delhi Capitals.

The Delhi Capitals had hosted two of their home matches at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, where they won both their matches. Now, they move back to their original base - Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The Kotla will host DC’s home matches against Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Titans over the course of the next few weeks.
Arun Jaitley Stadium will be hosting it’s fifteenth season of the cash-rich league matches, having hosted several matches in IPL - the home games of DC in 14 seasons and as a neutral host during the 2021 season.
Although the venue is known for it’s slow nature of wickets over the years, the wicket has seen a little change since the 2023 ODI World Cup, producing some high-scoring contests. Here is a look at the Arun Jaitley Stadium T20 and IPL records:
