A summer which promises enthralling cricket just completed its first day yesterday as the Ashes has started between two old foes England and Australia.
On the very first day, England showed amazing prowess of their nuevo approach in Test cricket by posting a mammoth total of 393 for 8 before the declaration at the final moments of the day. Joe Root scored his 30th Test century while Zak Crawley, and Jonny Bairstow also scored decent fifties.

Australia are 14 for no loss at the end of the day's play and will be hoping to put up a decent show on Day 2 today (Saturday, June 17).
The weather report for Birmingham on Day 2 of the 1st Test predicts a partly cloudy sky where the daytime temperature will be around 24° C. The temperature will remain around the same throughout the day and will gradually decrease as the evening approaches.
Rain Prediction: There is little chance of rain at the start of the day. There is a 30 to 40 % rain prediction at around 8 am and we may witness a delay in start if rain occurs.
Wind Speed: There will be a gentle breeze of around 10 to 12 km/hour from the southeast direction throughout the whole day. With overcast conditions, bowlers can expect some kind of swing in the early hours of the day.
