Bengaluru, August 14: Four Indian players will play in the English county season after the on-going Sri Lankan Test series.
Off-spinner R Ashwin will turn out for Worcestershire as he was exempted from the five-match one-day series and a one-off T20 against Sri Lanka that follow the Test series, said a report in the ESPNCricinfo.
Apart from the Tamil Nadu man, pacer Ishant Sharma, Cheteswar Pujara and Ravindra Jadeja will also play for various counties.
In this Pujara has already appeared for three counties over the past three seasons - Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire in that order. Pujara set to continue for Nottinghamshire.
Ishant Sharma will play for Warwickshire. However, left-arm spinner Jadeja, who is in talks with a couple of counties, is yet to decide on the county whom he will play for.
