Ashwin thrills budding cricketers with speech, game

Bengaluru, August 19: Ravichandran Ashwin is on a high these days. He has taken sackful of wickets in Tests. The off-spinner has signed for a county stint with Worcestershire. His Gen-Next cricket academy, based in Chennai, will open a branch in Dubai.

But those big moments have not stopped Ashwin from spending some time with aspiring cricketers in the academy in Chennai.

Having played a no less significant role in India's 3-0 Test series whitewash over Sri Lanka, the offie hit the academy soon after his return from the Island nation.

In fact, he found ample time to play a game with the kids and gave them an inspirational speech.
Ashwin will soon leave to England to fulfill his county duties.
