Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has predicted the winner of the match between India and Pakistan. The arch-rivals will be locking horns against each other on September 2 before very likely meeting again on September 10. In case the two teams qualify for the final, they will meet for the third time in Asia Cup 2023.
Kaneria has said that Pakistan will have an edge over India as their side looks unsettled due to injuries of the player. Kaneria also gave a major verdict on senior spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, saying that Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel should be the three leading spinners and in case a backup is needed Ravi Bishnoi should be preferred.

"Pakistan have the edge, as India don't look settled at the moment. They don't know which fast bowlers are going to play. In their spin department, Yuzvendra Chahal has been inconsistent. Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja should be the three spinners, according to me. If they want a spinner on standby, Ravi Bishnoi should get the nod," Kaneria said during a live session on his official YouTube channel.
"KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have been practicing at the NCA and are mostly likely going to be included in India's squad for the upcoming major tournaments. However, you cannot bring someone into the team just on the basis of practice. They will have to play matches and should be added to the team only if they show good form there," Kaneria explained.
India are racing against time to fix their middle-order conundrum ahead of the Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer are still sweating out hard to regain full match fitness. Pacer Jasprit Bumrah has recovered and would be closely observed during the 3-match Ireland series which starts from August 18.
