The coveted National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru will be hosting all the big names of Indian cricket as the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya are reaching the venue for India's training camp for the Asia Cup 2023. The camp begins on Thursday and will last till August 29.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and some other senior players, who were not part of T20 series in Ireland, are on their way to Bengaluru and will be training with head coach Rahul Dravid and his support staff. The rest of the names, who are part of the Asia Cup squad and played in Ireland, will join the squad in the next three days.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been on rest since the ODI series in the Caribbean while Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav returned home after being rested for the T20 series in Ireland. Only members of the squad will participate in the camp since it is only for the Asia Cup 2023 team.
The biggest challenge for Indian squad is to be ready for the slow pitches of Kandy and Colombo as India will play their matches in Sri Lanka with Pakistan being the main and co-host of the Asia Cup 2023.
Meanwhile, ICC announced the warm-up matches schedule for the ICC ODI World Cup, India will play two official warm-up matches against England and the Netherlands.
The two-time winners India will face defending champion England in the first warm-up game on September 30 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, after which they will travel to Thiruvananthapuram to face the Netherlands on October 3.
A total of three venues -- Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad -- will host the official warm-up matches for all the 10 teams before the World Cup opener in Ahmedabad on October 5 between New Zealand and England.
