The second-lowest total was recorded during a game in Toronto in 1997. In the first innings, India restricted Pakistan to just 116 runs. Under the captaincy of Sachin Tendulkar, India successfully chased down the target with seven wickets to spare.

Earlier on Monday, September 11, 2023, India resumed their batting from where they had left off the previous day. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul formed a partnership that added 233 runs, contributing significantly to India's impressive total of 356 runs. When Pakistan attempted to chase this target, they struggled to handle the spin of Kuldeep Yadav, ultimately finishing their innings with a total of 128 runs. Notably, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf couldn't bat due to injuries.
