India take on arch-rivals Pakistan in a crucial Super Four encounter on Sunday (September 10) at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. After progressing to the Super Fours, both teams will be hoping to qualify for the Finals and this encounter will have a pivotal role in that quest.
In the group stage meeting between these two sides, the match was abandoned courtesy of relentless rain in Kandy. Pakistan already have played a Super Four match and they started off with a comprehensive victory over Bangladesh.

The Indian team have welcomed back KL Rahul while Sanju Samson has been sent home. The Indian team secured a dominating victory over Nepal but had early stutters with the bat against Pakistan. Despite Rahul's inclusion, it looks like India may revert back to the starting lineup which played against Pakistan.
Pakistan, on the other hand, have a full squad available for the India tie and will be hoping to field their best eleven to slay Rohit Sharma and his men. Pakistan started off with an impressive victory in the Super Fours against Bangladesh, and they know a win over India can take them ever closer to a berth for the Final.
