The amicable relationship between the India and Pakistan players is an eye-soothing aspect of the India-Pakistan rivalry.
We often see Indian players hanging out with Pakistan players in the minimum amount of time they face each other in the continental and ICC tournaments. And before the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four match, Shaheen Afridi and Jaspirt Bumrah had a special moment.

Jasprit Bumrah recently became a father after giving birth to a son. The pacer also briefly came to India amid the tournament and then rejoined the team after the birth of his son. And Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi had a special gift for his India counterpart.
A video is seen where the Pakistan player handed over a gift for Bumrah and wished him the best for becoming a father. He also wished the newborn the best and wished him to become the new Bumrah.
"Mere Shehzaade ke liye ek chhota sa gift. Allah usko hamesha khush rakhe, aur naya Bumrah baane, (A gift from me for the prince [referred to Bumrah's son]. May Allah always keep him happy, and hopefully he becomes the new Bumrah)," Shaheen is seen saying to Bumrah in the video.
The Indian pacer was visibly touched by the amazing gesture and thanked Shaheen for the gift. The pair exchanged the heartwarming moment which kind of epitomized the 'sports bound to no boundaries' concept.
The latest encounter between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023 has been called off and is now rescheduled for Monday (September 11).
