The 16th edition of the Asia Cup is set to commence from August 30. The continental showpiece event is set to held in a hybrid format for the first time.
The reluctance of BCCI to send the Indian team to Pakistan, the official hosts of the Asia Cup 2023, have led to this arrangement. Nine of the 13 matches will be held by Sri Lanka, however, Pakistan will continue to remain the official hosts.
