Asian Games 2023 men's Cricket: Cricket is set to return to the Asian Games after five years. Cricket was part of the 2010 Guangzhou and 2014 Incheon Asian Games but was dropped from the continental multi-sport event at Jakarta 2018.

The men’s T20 tournament will be played from September 27 to October 7 after the completion of the women’s event which will be held from September 19 to 25. India have sent their men's cricket team for the first time in the history of Asian Games.

The men’s cricket tournament at the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023 is a 15-team affair and starts on September 27. The quarter-final matches will begin from October 3. The two semi-final matches will be conducted on October 6. The bronze and gold medal matches will be played on October 7.

The four top-ranked team in the ICC rankings - India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh - will directly start their campaigns from the quarter-finals while the remaining 11 teams will start from the group stage.

The four group winners will join the big four in the quarter-finals. The venue for all matches, both men’s and women’s, will be the Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket Field.
