Assam Premier League: Full List of Award Winners from APL 2026 Season as Barpeta Braves become Champions

Barpeta Braves ended the inaugural Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League on the highest note, defeating Guwahati Royals by five wickets in the final at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday.

Guwahati Royals posted 165 after being sent in, with Rohit Sen producing the standout performance of the innings. The wicketkeeper-batter smashed 90 from just 37 deliveries, including 10 fours and six sixes, before Barpeta completed the chase with seven balls to spare.

Saurav Mousum Dihingia provided Barpeta with a flying start with 33 off 16 balls, while Hrishikesh Das contributed 35. After losing four wickets for 99, Barpeta needed composure in the closing stages, and Arun Sonar delivered. His unbeaten 34 off 20 balls, including six fours, helped steer the Braves to 166/5 in 18.5 overs. Sonar's 59-run partnership with Abhilash Maurya, who made 24, proved crucial.

Despite missing out on the title, Guwahati dominated the individual awards. Rohit Sen finished the competition as the leading run-scorer and Bastab Roy emerged as the tournament's leading wicket-taker.
