AUS vs PAK: Australia have announced two vice-captain in their playing eleven for the first Test against Pakistan in Perth from December 14. Captain Pat Cummins will have an additional deputy in Travis Head.
Head, who smashed a cracking hundred in the World Cup 2023 final, will be the co vice-captain alongside Steve Smith who will be the first option to take over the captaincy in Cummins' absence.

There were no more surprises as Pat Cummins announced Australia's playing eleven for their first Test against Shan Masood's Pakistan. Nathan Lyon, who suffered injury during the Ashes 2023, makes his way back in the eleven.
David Warner, who is playing his last Test series, would be opening alongside another southpaw Usman Khawaja. Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Travis Head will form the middle-order, and will be followed by all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey.
The pace trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood would be in action. Two other pacers in the team - Scott Boland and Lance Morris - will warm the bench alongside all-rounder Cameron Green.
