Australia batter David Warner has retired from Test cricket after the 3rd Test against Australia in Sydney.
Australia won the final Test of the series and thus completed a clean sweep against the Pakistan side. And as Warner came out to bat for the final time in his career, he was showcased a lot of affection by the fans and his opponents.

The entire Sydney crowd gave him a standing ovation as the southpaw took to the field. Warner came into bat and also received a Guard of Honour from the Pakistan team.
His teammate and opening partner Usman Khawaja also gave him a warm hug before stepping to the field.
He scored a crucial half-century with the bat as Australia beat Pakistan by 8 wickets. Warner scored 57 runs off just 75 balls to help his team win and thus ended his illustrious Test career on a high.
Along with Tests, Warner has also hanged his gloves from ODIs. The Aussie will be available for T20Is and is expected to play franchise cricket more regularly from now on.
David Warner ends his Test career with an excellent record. The 37-year-old has scored 8786 runs in 112 Test matches (205 innings), at an average of 44.6. He has scored 37 fifties and 26 centuries, with his highest score being 335 against Pakistan in 2019.
