AUS vs PAK: Pakistan cricketer Noman Ali was admitted to a hospital in Australia after complaining of severe abdominal pain on Friday. He has been diagnosed with acute appendicitis and ruled out of the remaining two Test matches.
The 37-year-old left-arm spinner did not play in the first Test which Pakistan lost by 360 runs. Pakistan earlier lost leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed ahead of the first Test. He felt severe pain in his right leg around knee.

Abrar is undergoing "conservative rehabilitation" and will have to be reassessed before the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) starting December 26.
“Noman Ali complained of sudden and severe abdominal pain yesterday, leading to examinations and scans in emergency that confirmed a diagnosis of acute appendicitis. On surgeon’s advice, he underwent Laparoscopic Appendectomy today," the Pakistan Cricket Board said.
Off-spinner Sajid Khan was flown in as a replacement for Abrar Ahmed, but he did not arrive in time for the Perth Test. Pakistan did not play a specialist spinner in the match. Part-time off-spinner Agha Salman bowled 27 overs in the first innings, and 13 overs in the second innings.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that Khurram Shazad complained of soreness in his left side in Perth and scans revealed the right-arm fast bowler had picked up a stress fracture in his ribs and an abdominal muscle tear. The young pacer has been ruled out of the remainder of the Test series in Australia.
