AUS vs PAK: In a brilliant tactical move by Pakistan captain Shan Masood, three fielders were deployed at catching cover to outfox Australia batting mainstay Steve Smith on Day 3 of the third and final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
On Friday, January 5 - Steve Smith fell in the trap set by Pakistan. Shan Masood first placed two fielders at short cover at the start of the 73rd from Mir Hamza. He brought a third catching cover into position on the very next delivery and that immediately paid dividends.

Steve Smith came down the pitch in his attempt to loft a drive over the three fielders but ended up giving a catch to Babar Azam who was part of the unorthodox field setting.
"Can you believe it, can you believe it," the commentator chirped as Steve Smith (38 off 86) walked back to the pavilion shaking his head in disappointment. The Pakistan fielders erupted in a wild celebration.
The wicket was followed by the dismissal of Marnus Labuschagne (60) in the next over from Agha Salman. The wicket reduced Australia to 187/4. Australia's first innings finally ended at 299 - 14 runs behind Pakistan's first innings total of 313.
Australia have won the first two Tests to take an unassailable 2-0 lead, but would be hoping to win the match to win the series 3-0 and give David Warner a perfect farewell from the longest format of the game.
