AUS vs SA: Australian opening pair of David Warner and Travis Head went berserk in the second ODI against South Africa at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein on Saturday.
The left-hand, right-hand opening combination, who could partner for only one run in the first ODI, blasted 102 runs in the first 10 overs to give their team a solid start. The platform laid by Warner and Head helped Australia post 392/8 runs in 50 overs.

At the end of 10 overs, Travis Head was unbeaten on 61 off 29, while David Warner on 39 off 32. Head got out for 64 off 36, but Warner went on to score 106 off 93 deliveries. The experienced southpaw with his 20th ODI hundred roared back to form just ahead of the World Cup 2023.
102 runs in 10 overs is the eighth-highest total by a team in the first powerplay of ODI cricket. Overall, Australia have scored hundred or more runs four times in the first 10 overs of an ODI match.

After being put to bat first Australia posted 392/8 - the second highest ODI total ever posted at Bloemfontein's Mangaung Oval. Captain Mitchell Marsh was dismissed for a golden duck but Marnus Labuschagne, who played a match-winning unbeaten 80-run knock after replacing Cameron Green as the concussion substitute in the first ODI, slammed his second ODI hundred.
The 29-year-old, who hasn't been picked in the Australia squad for the 2023 World Cup, scored 124 off 99. Josh Inglis also chipped in with 50 off 37. Kagiso Rabada leaked 79 runs in nine overs for two wickets. Aiden Markram also bowled 10 overs for 78 runs and no wicket. Tabraiz Shamsi was the most successful bowler for South Africa. He picked four wickets for 61 runs in 10 overs.
