The Shaheens had a surprise winning start against Sri Lanka, defeating the Asia Cup champions after three unsuccessful tries. However, the team led by Fatima Sana ran out of luck in the high-octane clash against rivals India, suffering a humiliating six-wicket loss.

Pakistan will know that going back to winning ways against the mighty Australians will be a big ask. However, the young team will back themselves to emulate their opening-day form against any opponent, and it will make for an exciting clash in Dubai on Friday.
