AUS-W vs SA-W Head to Head: Australia and South Africa Women are set to clash in the first semi-final of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, October 17.
The match will be a repeat of last year’s Women’s T20 World Cup final where Australia defeated South Africa to clinch their sixth title. The Baggy Greens will now be looking to secure their eighth final appearance while South Africa will aim to exact the perfect revenge and get their second-consecutive final round place in the Women’s T20 World Cup.

Despite going strength to strength in recent years, South Africa Women still lag behind their Australian counterparts in head to head records. In the 10 WT20I matches played between the two teams, Australia have won all but one match, with the Proteas’ sole victory coming in January 2024.
Seven of these encounters have been during the Women’s T20 World Cups where Australia have emerged victorious every single time, including crucial matches like the 2023 final and 2020 semi-final matches.
