Australia Squads for Pakistan, Bangladesh Series: Check Full List of Players, Captain, Key Omissions

Cricket Australia has named the squads for their upcoming tours in Pakistan and Bangladesh for limited-overs affairs, as it was announced on Monday (May 11).

The Australians will travel to Pakistan for a three-ODI series against Pakistan (May 30, June 2 and 4) across Rawalpindi and Lahore. Many senior players, including Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood, are expected to miss the tour due to IPL commitments, giving younger talents a chance to shine.

Immediately after, Australia head to Bangladesh for three ODIs in Dhaka (June 9-14) and three T20Is in Chattogram (June 17-21). These fixtures offer vital preparation and squad rotation opportunities as Australia rebuild their white-ball combinations.

The CA announced earlier that the Aussie players involved in IPL would not be included in this tour. Mitchell Marsh has been named as captain for both tours, as big names such as Travis Head, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood won't play any part in Pakistan tour.

Notable selections include Cameron Green across formats, Billy Stanlake and Spencer Johnson returns, while Travis Head features only for Bangladesh.

After a disappointing outing in the T20 World Cup, which saw Australia eliminated from group stages, they will be hoping to revive their status in the upcoming tours.
