Group B heavyweights set to clash as 2021 champions Australia take on defending champions England in match 17 of T20 World Cup 2024 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday (June 8).
Mitchell Marsh-led Australia will look to carry their winning momentum from the tournament opening 39-run victory over Oman, while Jos Buttler’s England will aim to open their account, having seen their opening match against Scotland end in a wash out.

Both England and Australia are expected to progress from Group B that also includes Oman, Namibia and Scotland, but a defeat for either side could dent their chances of reaching the Super 8s.
This will be England and Australia ninth appearance in the show-piece tournament since it’s inception in 2007. Both teams have won the title at least once and will look to add to their this year as well.
