Australia vs West Indies 2nd Test saw a historic result on Sunday (January 28) as visitors Windies won their first Test match Down Under in 27 years to tie the series 1-1. West Indies won the day/night match by eight runs on the fourth day at The Gabba in Brisbane.
Shamar Joseph was the star of the match with a memorable seven-wicket haul that bundled out Aussies for 207 runs while chasing 216 under the lights. Australia had hopes with Steve Smith on the crease but the batter remained stranded on 91* at the other end.

Post-dinner break, the Australian innings lasted 20 runs as they resumed at 187/8. Shamar Joseph wrapped up the win with the last Aussie wicket of Josh Hazlewood (0) after Alzarri Joseph removed Nathan Lyon (9).
Following his serious injury to his toe from a fiery yorker bowled by Mitchell Starc on the last ball of the West Indies' second innings on Saturday, Shamar Joseph was helped off the ground. The incident could be the vantage point of his stellar show on the fourth day.
With his pace approaching 150 kph (93 mph), the 24-year-old Joseph smashed through the Australian middle order in ten overs, taking 6-60 by the dinner break. After ending a 71-run partnership with a fine effort against Cameron Green (42), he proceeded to breach Travis Head's defense with a yorker. Head had ducked bouncers twice in the innings by Joseph.
Mitch Marsh (10) and Alex Carey (two) both came and went quickly as Australia wobbled and belief grew for West Indies of a stunning upset. Starc made 21 before he became Joseph's fifth wicket when he was caught by Kevin Sinclair at cover.
Cummins, who scored a career-high 64 not out in the first innings could only manage two before he edged a ball through to Joshua da Silva with Australia still requiring 41 runs to win. On Saturday, West Indies made early inroads through as Australia ended Day 3 at 60-2 still needing 156 runs.
