Fresh from their 3-0 whitewash of Pakistan, Australia will host West Indies in two Tests, starting with the first Test at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide from Wednesday (January 17).
The series will then conclude with a Pink Ball Test at the Gabba in Brisbane from January 25 before the action changes to white-ball cricket, starting with the three-match ODI series followed by the three-match T20I series.

The two sides are set to meet for the second time in the space of two years, when Australia did a whitewash over the Windies. In 2022, Adelaide hosted the day-night Test and Perth played hosts to the day Test. This time Brisbane will host the day-night Test.
Australia will be playing their first Test series since David Warner's retirement. The hosts have called up Matt Renshaw as replacement, but have confirmed Steve Smith will open the batting in the Test series against West Indies.
Apart from the one change, Australia remain unchanged from the series against Pakistan with senior pace trio of skipper Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc likely to play in both the Tests. Scott Boland is the fourth pace bowling option in the squad.
West Indies, on the other hand, will feature only four players from the squad that toured Australia in 2022 with Kraigg Brathwaite leading the side and Alzarri Joseph serving as his deputy. The visitors have in fact named seven uncapped players for the series.
