The five-time World Champions Australia will be hoping for a decent outing in the upcoming ODI World Cup which starts from October 5 in India.
Australia, who have been champions four times out of the last six editions, will kickstart their campaign against the hosts India on October 8 in Chennai. They will be up against South Africa next on October 13.

Aussies will take on their Oceanian rivals New Zealand on October 28 at the pictersque Dharamshala, followed by a crucial clash against arch-rivals England at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Steve Smith and the boys will conclude their group stage campaign on the final matchday on November 12.
All the Ten teams will play one game against each opponent. There will be a single points table and after the completion of the group stages, the top four teams will advance to the Semi-Finals.
In the Semi-finals, the Ranked 1 team is supposed to play the Ranked 4 team, whereas the 2nd and 3rd placed teams will play against each other. The winners of the semifinals will then lock horns in the Final on November 19.
Australia will play in 8 out of 10 venues. They have two matches at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, whereas the other seven stadiums will host one Australia match each.
Kolkata and Hyderabad are the only two venues which won't host any Australia matches, but progression to the semifinal can still give them a chance to play at the Eden Gardens.
