Australians to receive good hospitality in India: Warne

By Staff

Melbourne, Mar 6 (UNI) Despite all the controversies and bad blood during India's recent tour Down Under, legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne expects no ill-feeling from local fans when Australian players go to play in the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL).

''Every single time I've been to India, the Indian fans have been very good, they love their cricket,'' Warne was quoted as saying by the 'The Australian'.

The 38-year-old praised the new found confidence and agression of Team India.

''There's obviously a bit more of an aggressive approach from the Indians at the moment. It's good to have a couple of rivals, some competition from other international sides,'' he said.

Warne felt both teams could have conducted themselves in a better manner through the Test and one-day triangular series and hoped the players would move on from all the controversies.

''I'm sure both sides will have a look back at a couple of incidents and say 'we may be could have handled that differently','' he said.

''But let's just move on from all that rubbish - gee, enough is enough with a lot of that stuff,'' Warne added. ''Let's just get out and play some cricket, even with you guys (media), let's just worry about some other stuff for a while.'' UNI XC AB RAR AS2030
