Babar Azam and Hasan Ali engaged in funny banter in PSL match - Watch

In the PSL match between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United, two Pakistan teammates Babar Azam and Hasan Ali were involved in a hilarious exchange. Take a look at their funny altercation.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is known for its on-field antics and funny altercations. And one of the funny incidents took place in Thursday's (February 23) match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.

During the PSL 2023 encounter between the two teams, two Pakistan teammate Babar Azam and Hasan Ali was involved in a funny banter that left the spectators to splits.

Babar Azam, who is the Peshawar Zalmi captain, was involved in the exchange with Islamabad's Hasan Ali. During an over bowled by Hasan Ali, Babar was taking a single and in the middle of the run, he pretended to hit Hasan with the bat. Hasan, watching that, ran away to cover himself and was all smiles, which caught the attention of the fans.

It was simply a light-hearted exchange between two friends and evidently showed the bondage between the rival teammates. Fans across Pakistan and beyond enjoyed the incident and had a good laugh.

Peshawar lost against Islamabad:

Babar Azam played a brilliant knock of 75 off 58 balls, but the Zalmis lost against Islamabad by 6 wickets. It was Hasan Ali who got the player of the match award for his 3 wickets.

Peshawar are currently sitting 4th in the PSL table with 4 points, while Islamabad have 6 points and currently sitting 2nd in the table.
