Babar Azam getting married 'Soon'? Mohammad Rizwan spills the beans on Pakistan Teammate

When is Babar Azam getting married? That has been a yearning subject among the fans in Pakistan.

With a plethora of current players getting married, Babar Azam's potential tying the knot is something that has fascinated people in the country.

Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi - two of Pakistan's prominent stars recently got married, as well as former Pakistan star Shoaib Malik, who got married for the 3rd time after his divorce from Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza.

But is Babar's wedding also on the horizon? His close Pakistan teammate Mohammad Rizwan spilled the beans recently. Rizwan says the day is nearing for Babar to start another chapter, and opened up on his relationship with the former Pakistan captain.

"I asked Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi to get married and Babar Azam too, will get married soon. Marriage is the command of Allah, the relationship between husband and wife is very sacred. Babar and I share a very positive relationship. Sometimes, we would stay up at night and talk and consult one another on various aspects of life," Rizwan said to Pakistani channel Geo News.

"Normally, we message someone before entering their room but me and Babar can enter each other's room anytime because of our friendship," he added.

The Pakistan batter was pictured buying a Sherwani from top Indian stylist Sabyasachi during the World Cup 2023, which was speculated to be for his big day. And now with Rizwan's remarks, we can expect the 29-year-old to tie the knot soon.

Babar Azam, meanwhile, is having a stellar season in the Pakistan Super League. He is the leading scorer in PSL so far with 447 runs in just 8 matches, averaging just short of 64. His team Peshawar Zalmi are currently 2nd in the PSL table and have already qualified for the playoffs. Rizwan is leading Multan Sultans, who are currently on top of the table.
