Babar Azam shares picture at Canberra Cafe, X pours love on ex-Pakistan captain

Pakistan are in Australia to play in a three-match Test Series which starts in Perth on December 14.

Babar Azam, the former Pakistan captain, is part of the team in Australia. He stepped down from captaincy after a disappointing World Cup 2023 campaign but is tipped to play a big part in the upcoming Test series.

Babar Azam

Pakistan are currently on top of the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle with a 100 per cent PCT and will be hoping to continue their summit status with a decent outing in Australia.

Pakistan will play a 4-day warm-up match in Canberra against Prime Ministers XI. The match starts on Wednesday (December 6) and ahead of that, Babar lifted his fans' moods with a picture of himself.

The Pakistan batter uploaded a picture of himself at a Canberra Cafe on Monday. The ex-Pakistan captain was in a jovial mood as he was enjoying a 'Lovely evening in Canberra'.

The picture has gone viral on social media and Pakistan fans have ushered love on the star batter ahead of the Test series.

The fan feels Babar Azam is glowing day by day after relinquishing captaincy. Was the leadership pressure taking a toll on his skin tone as well?

Shaheen Shah Afridi replaced Babar as the new T20I captain, but Shaheen's fan club admires Babar.

The words echoing across Pakistan is the same, as the general notion is that Babar was burdened by captaincy.

Pakistan will require the best of Babar Azam in the series. They have lost all of their last 14 Tests against the Aussies in Australia and their last victory came way back in 1996.
