Pakistan captain Babar Azam has issued a warning to India and eight other teams Pakistan will play in the upcoming World Cup 2023 which kicks start from October 5 in Ahmedabad.
The stylish right-hand batter first played down the hype around the October 15 clash between India and Pakistan by saying that the Men in Green will have to beat all the teams to qualify for the mega final. Babar later added that he looks to dominate and score in every country and things would be no different in India.

Notably, Pakistan are slated to play at five venues in India during the World Cup 2023. Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad will be the host cities for Pakistan matches.
"You prepare yourself for different conditions and in every environment and that is what we call a challenge and you take it to live up to it,” he said.
“Me, as a player and captain, I aspire to score runs in every country, dominate and win Pakistan games. So this is all we have in mind and not only that we're going to play against one team," Babar Azam added.
Further, Babar said that Pakistan was not only focussing on the match against India as beating the remaining eight teams in the competition was equally important to win the title.
"We are going to play the World Cup and not just going to play against India only. There are eight other teams and it's not only India and only if we beat them then we will make it into the final. We are not focused on only one team, we are focused on all other teams in the tournament. Our plan is that we have to play well against all of them and win against them," he said.
Pakistan kick off their campaign against Netherlands on Friday, October 6 in Hyderabad.
