The ODI series between Bangladesh and England came to end on Monday with the former avoiding a cleansweep by registering a 50-run win on the back of a stellar all-round show from Shakib Al Hasan. The 35-year-old scored 75 runs off 71 balls before picking four wickets for the 35 runs in 10 overs. He was adjudged Player of the Match for his performance.

Earlier, England won the the first two matches by three wickets and 132 runs respectively. The batters struggled in each of the three matches, except for the second one in which England piled up 326/7 while batting first. 246 by Bangladesh in the third match was the second-highest total in the series which England clinched 2-1.
