Venue: Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet
Bangladesh will be keen to keep their winning combination for the 2nd ODI. The Tigers were outstanding with both bat and ball in the previous match. Towhid Hridoy was the star of the match on his debut and was awarded player of the match for his brilliant 92 runs. Along with him, Shakib Al Hasan (93 runs, 1 wicket), Ebadot Hossain (4 wickets) and Nasum Ahmed (3 wickets) also played a massive part in their win. With a strong record at home, it is only imminent that Tamim Iqbal and his men will look to wrap up the series.
Ireland were poor in the last match. Their bowling was wayward, and apart from Graham Hume, all the bowlers were toothless. Their application with the bat was also disappointing as the likes of Harry Tector, Andrew Balbirnie failed to make an impact while the run chase. They need a swift comeback in the second match, which is set to be played at the same venue in Sylhet.

The pitch at the Sylhet stadium is a batting friendly one and runs can be expected. Although it can help the spinners as the match goes on, dew will come as a huge factor given the weather in Sylhet can drop during the evening. But the hosts proved a decent score on the board can be defended, and they may opt for the same strategy if they win the toss.
