Bangladesh are up against the visiting Ireland side in the 2nd T20I match on Wednesday (March 29).

The hosts continued their winning run over Ireland with a 22-run victory in the first match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. It was a rain-affected game as Bangladesh scored 207/5 in 19.2 overs, and in reply, Ireland managed 81/5 in 8 overs and fell 22 runs short in the DLS method.

Rony Talukdar and Litton Das starred with the bat for them while Taskin Ahmed skittled through the Irish batting, picking up 4 wickets in just two overs. Talukdar was awarded player of the match for his 67 off just 38 balls. The Tigers will be hoping to win their 2nd T20I bilateral series in a row at home as they take on the field on Wednesday.

Ireland need some sort of response after their dismal outing in the last match. They will be hoping for a full match and will aim to restore parity in the series. Paul Stirling is leading them in this series as regular captain Andrew Balbirnie was rested for the T20I series.
