New Delhi, Mar 8: After a picture of Bangladesh's right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed carrying the severed head of the Indian limited-overs captain MS Dhoni went viral over the social media, Dhoni's supporters took revenge of the same in their way.

According to a IndiaToday report, "Indian hackers claim to have hacked into more than 20 Bangladesh-based websites, including three government domains, in retaliation to a fan's photoshopped image."

"Message to the citizens of Bangladesh, your cricket team is nothing infront of us," wrote the hackers on each defaced site, posting a picture of Dhoni.

Team of 15 hackers of the Kerala Cyber Warriors, named their operation as #OP_TROLL_BANGLADESH, launched a massive attack on Bangladesh websites after the image went viral.

"We are proud Indians and will not allow such attack and defaming of the nation. People of Bangladesh trolled Dhoni with his morphed picture. Dhoni replied to them on the field and we are answering to them on cyber space.

So, to teach them a lesson we defaced over 20 websites. We will continue to attack more websites if the morphed picture is found being circulated by them," a member of the hacking group told Mail Today in a email conversation.

This is not the first time a Bangladesh fan has targeted India on social media. Earlier in 2015 when India struggled to cope with pacer Mustafizur Rahman, a Bangladesh newspaper had published a picture of half-shaved heads of the Indian players, in order to show the after-effects of Mustafizur's 'cutters'.

According to catchnews.com, "They (Kerala CyberWarriors) are a group of 15 white hat hackers (ethical hackers) based in Kerala. They refer to themselves in codenames and they are doing what we expect the cyber police to do.

Going by the name Kerala Cyber Warriors, this group has been cracking down on explicit social media pages in India."
