Before the upcoming match against New Zealand, Bangladeshi pacer Taskin Ahmed hopes to achieve a bowling speed of 150km/hr, becoming the country's first bowler to do so.
Bangladesh will face New Zealand in their ICC Cricket World Cup match on Friday in Chennai. Bangladesh has one win and one loss in the competition, while New Zealand has two wins in two games.

"If I can tick 150 for Bangladesh, I'll be delighted; no one has done it before, so I'd love to ball 150 and take more wickets than this," Taskin said in a video broadcast by the International Cricket Council.
The Bangladesh spinner also discussed his first encounter against India in 2014, when he became a sensation by grabbing a five-wicket haul in his maiden ODI.
"I never anticipated to get five wickets in my debut match." "I was quite motivated to perform well in that game, but it was a fantastic debut against India," he added.
Taskin also discussed his path back to the team after being pulled from the World Cup 2019.
"I was not selected for the 2019 World Cup squad, and that day was difficult for me; I almost cried that day."
