The eleventh edition of the Bangladesh Premier League - BPL 2024/25, a T20 tournament organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), gets underway on Monday (December 30) with the league phase.

BPL Season 11 will see seven teams do battle in double-round robin format in which each team will play 12 matches each with the top four earning a spot in the playoff round or the knockout stages.

A total of 46 matches, including the BPL Playoffs, will be played across the next few weeks in three different venues in three cities with Shere-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium playing hosts to the first phase of the tournament and also the knockout rounds.

The Dhaka venue will host a total of 22 matches, Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram and Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet will play host to 12 games each in the league phase of the T20 tournament.

When does BPL 2024/25 start and end?

The 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League begins on Monday (December 30) with the league phase, which is scheduled to conclude on February 1, 2025. Post the league phase, the BPL playoffs will be held from February 3 to 7, 2025.

Where will BPL matches be played?

The Bangladesh Premier League matches will be played across three venues in three different cities with each stadium at least hosting 12 matches featuring some of the top talent from Bangladesh and a few overseas stars.

What time will Bangladesh Premier League matches start?

There are four different start times in the 11th edition of BPL with the earliest start coming at 1:30 PM Local Time (1 PM IST), followed by 2 PM BST, 6:30 PM BST and 7 PM BST. The 1:30 PM IST and 6:30 PM IST starts are for Friday's double headers.
