Bangladesh vs Afghanistan 3rd ODI Dream11 Prediction: BAN vs AFG Possible Playing 11 and Fantasy Picks

Bangladesh will look for a consolation win when they host Asian rivals Afghanistan in the third and final ODI of the three-match ODI series, on Tuesday (July 11) at the Zhaur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattorgram.

Afghanistan's tour of Bangladesh started off with a massive 546 runs for the visitors in the one-off Test. However, Hashmatullah Shahidi-led Afghanistan responded with back-to-back wins in the ODIs to claim an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz

The hosts, who looked to put behind the 17-run DLS method loss from the first ODI, suffered a humiliating 142-run defeat in the second ODI, in which the visitors rode on record opening stand from openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran, who scored hundreds, to set a target of 332.

In response, the Bangladesh side, who were without the services of former captain Tamim Iqbal, were no match to the Afghanistan side as they folded for 189. For the visitors, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman claimed three wickets each, while Rashid Khan took two wickets.

With the series already lost, Bangladesh will now play for pride, but will once again be without Tamim and there is a chance of pacer Ebadot Hossain also missing the final ODI as he left the field with injury when bowling in the second ODI.

Afghanistan, on the other hand, has no injury worries, but with the series already in the bag and the T20I series fast-approaching, the visitors may look to test their bench strength with the likes of Rashid and Farooqi possibly being rested.
