Afghanistan will resume their tour of Bangladesh 2023 with six white ball matches, starting with the ODI series from Wednesday (July 5). The tour started last month with a One-off Test match which Bangladesh won by a massive 546 runs.
The two sides will now clash in the 50-over format in a series that will be a platform to prepare for the ODI World Cup later this year. The 3-match series will start with the firs ODI on July 5 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, which will also host the remaining two ODIs.

This will be Bangladesh's first ODI assignment since May when they clinched a series 2-0 in Ireland after the first match of the three-match series was washed out due to rain. For Afghanistan, this will be the first assignment since 1-2 series loss in Sri Lanka last month.
Both teams will see the return of some top stars that missed the One-off Test as Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal are back in the squad for the hosts, while star spinner Rashid Khan is back among the visitors' squad.
