Up 1-0, Bangladesh will look to carry on the winning momentum and seal the series when they face World Champions England in the second T20I at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday (March 12).
The hosts Bangladesh, who secured a consolation win in the final ODI, defeated England by 6 wickets in the first T20I at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Thursday (March 9).
Nazmul Hossain Shanto (51 off 30 balls) and captain Shakib Al Hasan (1 for 26 and 34 not out off 24 balls) ensured victory for the hosts after England skipper Jos Buttler (67 off 42 balls) had taken the visitors to a challenging total.
Now, the two sides are set for more thrilling encounters in the shortest format as the action shifts to Dhaka for the final two matches left on the tour. England may look to change their team, but Bangladesh will look to retain their winning combination.
England may shuffle the pacers as the likes of Mark Wood and Jofra Archer may be given a rest, while they could also try out young Rehan Ahmed with other pace option Reece Topley reportedly struggling with a niggle.

With the winning momentum and playing at Bangladesh will be a confident side especially against an England team that is short of players with injuries to their players. However, the World Champions can bounce back if their bowlers step up and produce performances like in the ODI matches in Dhaka, where they won two of two to win the series.
