Bangladesh will look bounce back and get back in the race for a Super 8 spot from Group D when they face Netherlands in match 27 of T20 World Cup 2024 at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent on Thursday (June 13).
Najmul Hossain Shanto-led Bangladesh will look to get back to winning ways following a 4-run loss to South Africa, while Scott Edwards’ Netherlands will also aim for a win, having lost a close contest against the Proteas by 4 wickets.

Netherlands and Bangladesh are set to fight for one spot in Group D after South Africa sealed the other spot following the wash out in Wednesday’s Sri Lanka vs Nepal match.
Bangladesh, who had opened their campaign with a victory Sri Lanka, failed to chase down 114 against South Africa in the last outing, while the Dutch were unsuccessful in their defence of 103 against the same opposition.
This is Netherlands sixth appearance in the show-piece tournament, while it’s Bangladesh ninth appearance since the T20 World Cup’s inception in 2007. Both teams have never managed to win the tournament so far.
