Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer made an interesting comment after Chandrayaan-3 sent pictures of the Moon surface after making a successful soft landing on the moon. Sharing a picture of the moon surface sent by Chandrayaan-3, Jaffer said the team winning toss should bat first.
Jaffer went on to add that he would play three spinners, a genuine pacer and an all-rounder on the Moon surface. Notably, the picture shared by Chandrayaan-3, showed dark patches on an uneven Moon surface.

"Definitely a bat first surface. I'd go with 3 spinners, one genuine seamer along with an all rounder," Wasim Jaffer wrote on X.
India became only the fourth country after the USA. Russia and China to make a successful landing on the Moon. India is the only country to make a successful landing on the south pole of the Moon.
The milestone comes nearly four years after its predecessor, Chandrayaan-2, crashed during the soft landing attempt in 2019. The entire country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then ISRO chief K Sivan broke down in tears.
The lander Vikram began its descent around 5:45 PM from nearly 25 kms from the Moon surface. The final journey of 150 metres was most crucial but there was no problem whatsoever this time.
Chandrayaan-3 lander Vikram touched down on the Moon's South Pole at exactly 6:03 pm. PM Narender Modi who is currently in South Africa to attend the BRICS, watched the historic event from Johannesburg and congratulated the nation and the ISRO teams immediately after the successful soft landing.
"First nation to land on the south side of the moon! What a proud moment for all of us. No praise high enough for the brilliant minds at ISRO," Jaffer wrote on X just after India created history with the successful soft landing of the Chandrayaan-3.
