BBL 14 Schedule: Cricket Australia's domestic T20 tournament - The Big Bash League 2024-25 edition will start on December 15 in Perth, and conclude with the summit clash on January 27 next year.

A total of 40 matches will be played in the league stage, and then the teams qualifying teams will be involved in the playoffs, which includes four matches, starting with Qualifier and Knockout followed by the Challenger and The Final.

Like last season, each team will play 10 matches in the group stage this season with five matches at home and five away. The top four post the completion of the league phase will head to the playoffs, which is scheduled to be staged from January 21 to 27 with the venues to be announced soon.

BBL 14 season will coincide with the India vs Australia Test series as 14 Big Bash matches will be held during Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. However, the BBL may potentially feature returning Australian Test players after the series concludes on January 7.

The Cricket Australia run tournament will also coincide with other franchise leagues across the world – New Zealand’s Super Smash, Bangladesh Premier League, Cricket South Africa’s SA20 and Emirates Cricket Board’s International League T20 (ILT20).

In the playoffs, the table-toppers and second-placed teams will lock horns for a direct entry into the final in the Qualifier with the loser heading into the Challenger Final, where they will face the winner of Knockout match between the third and fourth placed teams.

Eleven venues including the SCG in Sydney and MCG in Melbourne have been selected to be used for the tournament, with Geelong and Coffs Harbour also set to host games along with Canberra, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. Here is a look at the venues followed by the schedule of BBL 14:
