BBL 2023-24 Schedule: Fixtures, Dates, Time in India & Venues Of Big Bash League Season 13

BBL 2023-24 Schedule: Cricket Australia's domestic T20 tournament - The Big Bash League 13th edition will start on December 7 in Brisbane and coclude with the summit clash on January 24 next year.

A total of 40 matches will be played in the league stage, and then the teams qualifying teams will be involved in the playoffs, which includes four matches, starting with Qualifier and Knockout followed by the Challenger and The Final.

While the same number of teams - 8 - will compete in this edition, the number of league stage matches have been reduced from 56 to 40 and the teams qualifying for the playoff stage has been reduced to four instead of the five from the previous seasons.

Instead of the 14 round robin matches, each team will play 10 matches in the group stage this season with five matches at home and five away. The top four post the completion of the league phase will head to the playoffs.

In the playoffs, the table-toppers and second-placed teams will lock horns for a direct entry into the final with the loser heading into the Challenger Final, where they will face the winner of Knockout match between the third and fourth placed teams.

Twelve venues including the SCG, Sydney and MCG, Melbourne have been selected to be used for the tournament, with Geelong and Coffs Harbour also set to host games along with Canberra, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart and Launceston. Here is a look at the venues and schedule of BBL 13:
