BCCI announces teams for Women's Challenger Trophy

New Delhi, June 2: Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur and Devika Vaidya have been named as captains of India Red, India Blue and India Green (Under-19) teams for the Women's Challenger Trophy to be held in Mysuru from June 14 to 17.

"The Women's Selection Committee met in Delhi earlier today, to pick the India Red, India Blue and India Green (Under-19) teams for the Challenger Trophy, to be played at Mysore from 14 June 2015 to 17 June 2015, in preparation for New Zealand's tour of India in June-July 2015," BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur said in a media release yesterday (June 1).

The squads

India Red: Smriti Mandhana (captain), Shikha Pandey, Poonam Raut, Latika Kumari, Sneha Morey, Madhusmita Behera, Kalpana R, Sneh Rana, Meghna S, Snehal Pradhan, S. Shubhlakshmi, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Poonam Yadav.

India Blue: Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Thirushkamini MD, Paramita Roy, Veda Krishnamurthy, Sarika Kohli, Rakshita K. Kalegowda, Sushma Verma, Anuja Patil, Niranjana Nagarajan, Ananya Upendran, Kavita Patil, Ekta Bisht, Preeti Bose.

India Green (Under-19): Devika Vaidya (captain), Deepti Sharma, Priya Punia, Divya Gnananand, Ramya Doli, Pushpa Kiresur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Ekta Singh, Tejal Hasabnis, Saika Ishaque, Pooja Vastrakar, Sushree Pradhan, Tania Bhatia.
