BCCI Central Contract: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the central contract list for the Indian Women's Cricket Team for the upcoming 2024-25 season, covering the period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.
All-format captain Harmanpreet Kaur, along with the dependable Smriti Mandhana and the versatile Deepti Sharma, have been awarded Grade A contracts. Their consistent contributions across formats have solidified their status among the nation's cricketing elite.

Grade A: Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma
Grade B: Renuka Singh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma
Grade C: Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu, Arundathi Reddy, Amanjot Kaur, Uma Chetry, Sneh Rana, Pooja Vastrakar
While Renuka Singh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, and Shafali Verma have retained their Grade B contracts, Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav, Sneh Rana, and Pooja Vastrakar find themselves in Grade C this time.
Rajeshwari Gayakwad, who was previously in Grade B, missed out on a contract for the upcoming season. Others who failed to retain their contracts from Grade C include Meghna Singh, Devika Vaidya, Sabbineni Meghana, Anjali Sarvani, and Harleen Deol.
On the other hand, fresh faces have emerged in the form of Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu, Arundathi Reddy, Amanjot Kaur, and Uma Chetry. Their recent performances have earned them a place in Grade C, highlighting the strength and depth of India's talent pool.
The Indian Women's Team will soon face Sri Lanka and South Africa in a tri-nation ODI series scheduled to commence on April 27 in Sri Lanka. This series will serve as crucial preparation ahead of the ICC Women's World Cup 2025, which will be hosted by India later in the year.
With a fresh contract list and renewed focus, the team will aim to build on its recent successes and make a strong impression on home soil during the prestigious tournament.
