BCCI has released the central contracts for the 2023-24 season on Wednesday (February 28).
The apex body of Indian cricket released the complete list of players who are going to be under contract for the upcoming cricket season. The current contract will run till September 30, 2024.

Only four players have made it to the Grade A+ contract, which is the highest category. India captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja have made the list.
The likes of Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya are slotted in Grade A for the season. As many as 15 players have been included in Grade C, which consist of players like Rinku Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Shivam Dube and Prasidh Krishna.
Nine players have been handed a contract by BCCI, who didn't feature last season in the list. Mukesh Kumar, Prasidh Krishna, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rajat Patidar, Avesh Khan, Tilak Varma, Ravi Bishnoi, Rinku Singh and Yashasvi Jaiswal - all have been included in the central contracts.
The significant misses are Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan, both have been omitted from the central contracts as the doubts loom large over their future.
Grade A+ - Rs 7 crore per year
Grade A - Rs 5 crore per year
Grade B - Rs 3 crore per year
Grade C - Rs 1 crore per year

The selection committee recommended a different contract for the fast bowlers and Akash Deep, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Umran Malik, Yash Dayal and Vidwath Kaverappa have been included in that list.
