BCCI, Cricket Australia Exchange Umpires for Ranji Trophy and Sheffield Shield Matches
Two umpires from India and Australia will be traversing across the globe and officiating in alternative tournaments as an interchange programme, as per reports.
An umpire exchange programme between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Cricket Australia (CA) will see officials from both countries gain experience in each other's domestic cricket competitions, with Australian umpire Ben Treloar set to officiate in two Ranji Trophy matches and India's Parashar Joshi travelling to Australia for three fixtures.

The initiative from BCCI and CA is to bolster the relationship between the two cricketing boards while providing match officials with exposure to different playing conditions and domestic cricket environments.
According to a Cricket Australia release, Treloar's Indian assignment began with Delhi's Ranji Trophy clash against Gujarat, scheduled from October 18 to 21 in Delhi. He will then officiate in Mumbai's match against Haryana from October 26 to 29 in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Joshi's Australian stint will begin with Queensland's Sheffield Shield fixture against Tasmania at the Gabba in Brisbane from November 11 to 14. He will remain at the venue for the two sides' One Day Cup encounter on November 16 before travelling to Sydney for the Sheffield Shield match between New South Wales and Queensland at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), scheduled from November 22 to 25.
Ben Treloar's Experience in Australian Cricket
Treloar brings considerable experience across Australia's domestic cricket structure. He has officiated in 30 first-class matches, 20 List A games and 39 Big Bash League (BBL) fixtures. His experience also includes two Women's One Day Internationals and four Women's T20 Internationals.
Beyond his on-field responsibilities, Treloar serves as Cricket New South Wales' Umpire Education Officer, contributing to the training and development of emerging match officials. His work in umpire education has earned him four George Borwick Memorial Awards from the New South Wales Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association.
Parashar Joshi's Domestic Record
Joshi will arrive in Australia with extensive experience across India's domestic competitions. He has officiated in 19 first-class matches, including fixtures in the Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy, alongside 32 List A matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Deodhar Trophy.
He has also stood in 40 T20 matches, with his appointments including games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
