BCCI files appeal agaisnt Dalmiya stay order
Kolkata, Sep 6 (UNI) Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) has filed an appeal in Calcutta High Court challenging a single bench order of the court staying suspension of former Board chief Jagmohon Dalmiya.
BCCI moved the suit before the court yesterday, according to counsel Usha Nath Banerjee close to Dalmiya.
Justice Indira Banerjee in July passed an interim order on an appeal of Dalmiya staying his expulsion from the Board until further order.
Dalmiya's petition awaited hearing before the bench.
Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) has suspened Dalmiya on allegations of misappropriation of PILCOM accounts funds and baned him from holding any post with the BCCI or any of its affiliated units.
