BCCI has released an invitation to tender for title sponsorship on Tuesday (August 1). The apex body of Indian cricket are open to hearing offers from entities for title sponsorships in upcoming BCCI events.
The Indian cricket team's potential title sponsors will have to pay a non-refundable amount to buy the Invitation to Tender.

BCCI released a statement on Tuesday depicting the procedure as they expect bids from reputed companies for title rights.
"The detailed terms and conditions governing the tender process including eligibility requirements, process for submissions of bids, rights and obligations, etc. are contained in the 'Invitation to Tender' ("ITT") which will be made available on receipt of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh Only) plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax," a statement from BCCI read.
The ITT will be available to purchase till 21st August. It is also mentioned that the documents will be shared after the payment to buy the ITT.
"Interested parties are requested to email the details of payment made for the purchase of the ITT to [email protected], as per the procedure laid down in Annexure A," it added.
The companies interested in buying an ITT will have to pay INR 1,18,000 including taxes, which will be a non-refundable payment made to the BCCI.
After that, the companies will be involved in a bidding process to win the title sponsorship for BCCI and Indian Cricket Team events. No company can involve in the bidding process without buying the ITT.
But only a mere payment of the ITT fee doesn't make any party eligible to involve itself in the bidding process.
"However, only those satisfying the eligibility criteria set out in the ITT and subject to the other terms and conditions set out therein, shall be eligible to bid. It is clarified that merely purchasing the ITT does not entitle any person to bid," the BCCI statement mentioned.
Also, BCCI reserves the right to cancel or amend the bidding process at any stage without citing any reason.
