The BCCI Naman Awards 2026, the annual prestigious ceremony by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), honors outstanding contributions and performances in Indian cricket across international and domestic levels, and this year, the gala event will be on Sunday (March 15).
This edition stands out as a celebration of India's remarkable "golden year" in cricket, with a historic focus on felicitating five ICC title-winning teams from the past year.

These include the senior men's team who won the T20 World Cup in 2024 and 2026, the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy winners, the senior women's team, the U-19 boys' side, and the U-19 girls' team, along with their players, coaches, and support staff.
The event will confer the highest honor, the Col. C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, to legends Rahul Dravid (former captain and coach, key in India's 2024 T20 WC success) and Roger Binny (former player and current BCCI President). Mithali Raj, the iconic former women's captain, will receive the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women for her pioneering role in elevating women's cricket.
Other key recognitions include Shubman Gill (India's Test and ODI captain) as Cricketer of the Year, and Mumbai's young talent Ayush Mhatre earning the Lala Amarnath Award for domestic limited-overs excellence. The ceremony, often called the "biggest night in Indian cricket," highlights both legendary legacies and emerging stars amid India's global dominance.
